We had the chance to build several Custom Diablo 3 PC’s over the past few weeks, however this one stood out in both cost and performance. The customer is an employee that works for Marvel on the Iron Man 3 project, and when he came to us – his vision was an over the top computer that would be completely compatible with World of Warcraft and Diablo 3 that specifically would run at the highest frame rates possible on his 30″ HD flatscreen. We did just that for him. Having to custom order several parts due to supply issues…..Most specifically the CPU and GTX 680 graphics cards; we we’re able to construct the best computer I have ever had the liberty of using. It kind of deserved it’s own blog post so here are a few pictures and if you’re in the market for one, how you can get ahold of us, learn how the process works, and how you can have one of these masterpieces shipped to your door.

If you are further interested in having us build out a machine for your or your business check out Gallery of builds on our facebook page or contact us for a quote.

Without any tweaking and latest drivers we were able to pull a 16400 score on 3dmark11 performance benchmarks………….

With tweaking and overclocking, i’m sure 20,000 would be an achievable goal.

When Immaculata Retreat House approached us in February 2012 for a website redesign, they had only a few things in mind: A cleaner updated look and feel, painless and easily updatable pages that they could manage in-house, and better results in Google.

We were able to accomodate this request without a problem. Their old website was using 5-7 year old technology, that was pretty painful to update internally.

Logistics Web Design Process Overview

Free Consultation – We always start with a free consultation with you via email, telephone or in person if you are located in Connecticut. We get to know you and get to understanding your business to create the vision for your website. With the vision in mind, we evaluate the needs of hosting and website functionality requirements. We provide a quote and contract that suits your business needs and budget.

Site Structure And Prototype – Once you approve the quote and sign the contract, we start working on the site structure and prototype. Once the design is approved, we will revise it according to your specifications. We offer a wide array of payment options to suit your business needs and budget.

Building your Website – Next, we will develop your site according to the prototype design you have approved. This is also the stage where we need the content for the web pages, graphics or videos for your website, and other material that will go into your website design. We would advise you to have all the material as electronic files because anything that needs to be typed or scanned will be charged extra. We keep Google in mind as all of our sites come standardized with basic feeds to all the major search engines.

Website Launch – After we finish constructing your website, we ask you for the final approval so your site can go live. Before the launch, we would test the website design with different browsers to make sure it is compatible with all browsers that are used on the market.

Ongoing Website Maintenance – After the launch, we can maintain your website for a small fee. If you are interested in internet marketing, we would start our search engine optimization and search engine marketing efforts.

Here the final product for Immaculata Retreat House. Contact us if you are seeking results on the web today!

With Diablo 3 coming May 15th, 2012 – and its generally lenient system requirements - you might want to consider a custom built machine if you are looking forward to playing this game at maximum settings flawlessly.

We are Logistics – based out of North Windham, CT (Eastern CT) My name is Ben and I generally do the builds for everyone that requests one. I personally have been building machines since I was about 12 years old. Have been through a lot of hardware in my 19 years of doing this and always found that high quality electronics build a flawless machine. You get what you pay for. And luckily for you, if you build with us, youre really not spending much more than what the parts cost. You tell us your budget – we order it – we build it – stress test it and ship it out to you.

Diablo 3 has been a long awaited title since before I can even remember. Diablo 1 and 2 were some of the best games I’ve ever played and I will be getting a copy of Diablo 3 on release day and playing with my friends and family. Look for a Tunaboat (myself) and Nastyteste / Tenny / Roflstomped (brother) near you.

We recommend building a machine with us because it will last for years and years to come, and if something DOES break………..The Manufacturers back up the products we use for 3-5 YEARS. For a mere $200 (our build fee) and generally around 35-50$ we fedex the machine to your door in 1-2 days after it’s built. (1 – 2 weeks depending on our workload).

Here’s a little secret – building a machine is probably one of my favorite things to do. We spend a lot of time, routing wires so they are hidden for maximum cooling, and stress test all your parts so there are no issues once you get it.

*** CHECK OUR BUILDS HERE! INTERESTED IN HAVING US BUILD YOU A FLAWLESS DIABLO 3 GAMING RIG??? CLICK HERE *********

You get NEWEGG Dealer pricing on all parts if ordered with us – full quote on parts list + labor emailed for customer approval before any work is done!

With all the available hardware options for computers out there, there has to be a way for the average gamer to differentiate between what machine to build at a price that not only makes sense to your wallet, but also plays the games that are out now and for years to come.

In this article I will go over manufacturers to use when building a machine that will play the new Diablo 3 game by Blizzard.

Keep in mind that from month to month, manufacturers are constantly coming out with newer, faster and more expensive hardware so what is expensive and top of the line this month, might not be the case next month. It is important to keep on top of what is being released to gauge what will make sense in your build. For example a GTX560 video card might be 299$ this month but the new 600 models might come out in the next month dropping the price of the 560′s to $199. Same goes with CPU’s, Motherboards and etc.

First of all – let’s get this point very clear – you get what you pay for – spending money on some no name parts is going to get you an unstable system. This includes but is not limited to: Locking up and Freezing, Random Rebooting, and all of the things that will piss you off. So if you know your system builder, ask them what they are using for parts – if they don’t know or reply back with some junk brand name – don’t waste your time or money.

If you just spent $400 on “the best gaming computer” from a local shop I would be very skeptical and even more worried that it wouldn’t last much longer than 6 months. Also, the Dell your parents bought you with with an added GFX Card from Best Buy also doesn’t qualify as a gaming machine.

Even gig companies like Alienware, or CYBERPOWER PC! YA SO COOL! CYBER POWER! use a few top shelf parts in their rigs but will skimp on things like motherboard and power supply in the end to make a few bucks. That’s not to say their 5 – 6000$ machines don’t though. But if you are spending 5-6000$ on a gaming PC you we’re ripped off.

When you are building a new gaming machine, really plan on spending anywhere from 1000$-1700$. Depending on parts used of course, this will give you a nice medium to high end build that should last between 4-6 years of play without having to upgrade much of anything. (This has been current trend the last 10 years – the hardware far outplays the software that comes out).

Let’s go over some manufacturers:

CPU: Intel

Motherboard: Asus – although AsRock has been making some real quality units lately, and their bios setup is really nice. Not to mention their price.

Memory: Corsair – Mushkin (best memory manufacturers on the market)

Video Card: EVGA, Asus are among the best brands youll want to go with.

Power Supply: Corsair, Enermax, Mushkin(discontinued) are among the best you can find. Remember, power is important, it is the blood stream of the system – And one of the most important selections you can make. 600W or less for single card GPU machines, and 750 and up for more than 1 Video Card.

Hard Drive: SSD – CORSAIR or INTEL (updated firmware versions only) – SATA – Western Digital – Fast, Reliable and if they do break down their Advanced RMA feature is very convenient. Not to mention 3-5yr year warranties.

Case: NZXT, Antec, Thermaltake are the better brands. Case selection is important because it gives the machine proper cable management as well as good ventilation for cooling.

Heatsink/CPU Fan: Thermaltake, Tuniq and too many more to list – Tons of options here, the stock fans that come with the i7 from intel are really pretty bad. They don’t always clip in right to the motherboard and can be a pain to seat in general. We do recommend upgrading it for 30-50$ depending on your budget.

This is a very basic list of the parts you’ll want to have your PC built with. If you take this advice, you not only will get a machine that will play the games at a desired speed, but you’ll also get a machine that you can enjoy for years to come as well as have piece of mind from recovering from a failure (most of these manufacturers offer 3-5yr or even LIFETIME warranties on their parts).

Logistics Custom Desktops are built using top shelf parts and we even give you dealer pricing on all the parts, generally all we charge you is a build fee somewhere between 200-300$ depending on configuration.

You get NEWEGG Dealer pricing on all parts if ordered with us – full quote on parts list + labor emailed for customer approval before any work is done!

Or order your parts and have us put it together, configure it and set up your software. We also back our machines with 1 year support on all software issues – viruses and any troubleshooting + labor is all included in the price. If you are interested in having us build you a machine contact us.

We’ll build you the best machine your money can buy – our price includes all parts & labor ($200 build fee) + shipping to your door.

Here are some of our customers machines that we have built w/ specs:

*** CHECK OUR BUILDS HERE! INTERESTED IN HAVING US BUILD YOU A FLAWLESS SWTOR OR WOW GAMING RIG??? CLICK HERE *********

You get NEWEGG Dealer pricing on all parts if ordered with us – full quote on parts list + labor emailed for customer approval before any work is done!

With all the available hardware options for computers out there, there has to be a way for the average gamer to differentiate between what machine to build at a price that not only makes sense to your wallet, but also plays the games that are out now and for years to come.

In this article I will go over manufacturers to use when building a machine that will play the new SWTOR (Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO ) Game and (WOW) World Of Warcraft.

What temperature does your CPU run at? Do you know what the normal operating temperature of your processor is? Most people don’t. How do you know your machine is overheating? Most times these issues are difficult to troubleshoot because there is no error. If your PC’s BIOS has a hardware monitor you can check it there, and laptops generally get extremely hot to the touch around the exhaust & CPU area. If your machine doesn’t have any way of monitoring the temperature, it can be even more of a challenge to locate the heating problem.

While heating issues are more common in custom built machines, they also can occur in pre-built units (Dell, HP, Acer etc) and often happen with older laptops. The most common issue with custom built machines is thermal paste not being applied correctly, same with laptops, although laptops can also accumulate a lot of dust in the fan/exhaust area causing it to heat up and reboot or turn off.

Here is a list of things to check if you notice your machine is overheating.

Check the thermal paste application.
Thermal paste, especially cheap stuff turns chalky over time, if you are experience overheating, this would be the first thing to check. Find yourself some nice silver compound (we recommend arctic silver www.arcticsilver.com) and apply a THIN coat on your processor and reseat the heatsink.

Is your fan pushing enough air and supplying enough cooling to your processor?
Most stock fans today do not supply enough cooling to the processor causing it to overheat – aftermarket fans can be purchased to remedy the issue and often are inexpensive (15$-50$ for a decent after market upgrade)

Dust & Air Restriction
This can be a major factor with your PC or laptop. Check for those nasty thick clumps of dust around exhaust ports or the heatsink itself. You might be blocking a way for the heat to escape causing the machine to cook itself. Find yourself either a can of c02 to blow the dust out, or we often use a wet/dry vac with an exhaust port that blows the dust out.

Room Temperature
Obviously if youre browsing the web inside of a boiler room, youre not going to be browsing for long. If the temperature of your room is over 85 or 90 degrees, you might want to think about relocating your computer. The machine won’t be able to cool itself if the air around it is hotter than itself.

Temporary Fixes for an Overheating PC

Take the side of the case off – this allows the machine to breath better and effectively reduces the overall temperature of the unit.

Get a fan or air conditioner and have it blow in the side of the case (with the side of the case off)

Purchase additional case fans – Some PC’s come with none of these, the air just sits inside the case without any actual flow – a case fan will move the air around – this will increase air flow inside the unit – reducing the overall temperature of this unit.

At Logistics, we specialize in building custom built desktops for gaming or everyday use. The parts we use are only high quality and they come with 3-5 year warranties (some lifetime) The benefit you have vs. pre-built from say HP or Dell, is the performance and quality. You are investing into a machine that will last for 5-10 years and will perform as fast as the day you got it.

We don’t load any extra software that slows down your machine and we also provide a 1 year support warranty for free.

Our machines are tuned for maximum FPS for video games, and will outperform anything you can buy at the store. We have over 15 years of experience building custom desktops for video games.

Whether you play World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, or even some older games that you have lying around – our machine will play them at blazing speeds.

Most custom machines take 5 days from time of purchase to be ready for pick up or delivery as we build them piece by piece.

While you will spend more money on a custom desktop (our machines start around 800$), what you are getting is unmatched performance and quality for games that will play at the highest settings for years to come.

So, stop by our shop and check out our custom demo – so you can see for yourself or contact us for a free quote.

If you don’t need a computer for games and just want a basic computer for everyday internet tasks or an office environment, check out some of our Refurbished Deals to save $$$$
