PS5 HDMI Port Replacement
Full replacement of the HDMI port on PlayStation 5, using a higher-quality part than Sony’s original. (Have a PS4 or older system? Click here.)
Already extracted your board? A board-only repair option is available for repair shops and DIY customers.
If your PS5 shows a black screen, or you can see cracks or bent pins inside the HDMI port, stop plugging in the cable — the port needs replacing. HDMI ports are sensitive and easily damaged by drops or frequent plugging and unplugging.
- We use high-end tools to remove the socketed port safely, without high-temp hot air stations that can compromise the PCB or nearby components
- We install a higher-quality port than Sony used originally
- In some cases, the CPU’s liquid metal application may need to be redone — we prefer to test with the full unit
- We send photos once your PS5 is confirmed working again

What to include
Just your console — no cables, controllers, or games needed, we test everything so it’s plug-and-go when it comes back. Make sure no discs are in the tray when shipping, and pack it well.
Please double-check your own HDMI cable for cracks or bent pins — include it only if you’re unsure of its condition. Re-damaging a newly soldered port will void your warranty.
