We invite you to read these terms of service before using our repair services.
It explains our process and may help answer any additional questions you have.
We provide services related to the repair and upgrade of electronic devices; specifically computers, laptops, motherboards, video game consoles, phones and tablets which are subject to the conditions stated below in this document. Every time you visit this website, use its services or make a purchase, you accept the following conditions.
All in shop repair orders for services rendered will be handled via Cash or Credit Card only. Cash or check is not accepted. All web orders for services rendered will be payed and processed through Paypal or Credit Card. Cash or check is not accepted. Depending on the service, partial or full payment is due at time of order placement. This will vary from service to service and depends on the complexity of the repair. When repair has been completed, any additional amounts owed, including shipping back customer will be invoiced through Paypal. Diagnostic fee’s are non refundable.
Internal Procedures Once Device Is In Our Possession
Once we have received your device we will tag and inventory the contents of your package. We will take pictures of your device and anything else included with the package. If there is any extensive damage that we believe happened during shipping we will contact you by email and send pictures of the damage. Anything not deemed extensive will be considered normal wear and tear from use and customer will not be contacted.
Repairs that require diagnostics will be assessed and customer will be contacted either through email or phone. If parts are required to repair the device a deposit maybe required upfront depending if the parts are special orders. Invoices will be billed through Paypal.
For repairs where service has been payed upfront, if additional repairs are needed customer will be contacted either through email or phone. Customer will ultimately approve any additional work before work is performed.
Due to the complexity of electronics there are rare cases where we will not be able to fix your device. In such cases the diagnostic fee or amount paid upfront is non refundable as these fee’s cover the techs time to diagnose / perform the work requested by the customer. In these rare cases if parts have been purchased to attempt repairs the customer maybe obligated to pay for the parts before device is shipped back to customer.
Turn around time will vary from device to device depending on complexity of repair, if we have to source parts and part availability. If repair is straight forward (meaning little to no diagnostics are required, we have parts on hand, customer has provided parts etc.) repair should be completed in less than a week. If repair requires diagnostics and we have to source specialty parts, repair could take several weeks to be completed. Service completion is subject to device and circumstances surrounding the repair.
After device has been repaired, when possible we will pack it in it’s original packaging and email you over the final invoice that includes shipping fees to send device back. Customer has 90 days from date the final invoice was sent to pay. After 90 days the device is considered abandoned and will become property of Logistics.
Customer is responsible for the costs associated with shipping their device to and from Logistics. We are in no way responsible for devices mailed to incorrectly filled out addresses. We are not responsible for devices damaged in shipping and strongly urge customers to pack their beloved devices well with adequate protective material.
We have no ability to influence the shipping beyond providing a valid tracking #.
We will only ship devices back to the original address on file that was submitted or Paypal confirmed addresses, unless other arrangements are made upfront. Final balance of repair is due before we will ship your device back to you. Please make sure you fill this information out correctly the first time.
If a customer wishes to cancel their order before work begins, and after paying, it’s no problem, but we cannot refund the transaction fee (3% – 4.5% per transaction) since PayPal and Credit Card Processing withholds that portion. Please be sure that you want what you are ordering.
Warranty of Repair
Our limited warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 90 days to 1 year (Check individual service or receipt for warranty coverage) from date device was mailed back to customer. This warranty does not cover problems that result from abuse, accident, misuse or problems with other components / peripherals associated with your device that were not included with original repair. Examples that would void our warranty include, but are not limited to include: LCD screens that have replaced and subsequently cracked again by customer, charging ports that have been replaced but then ultimately broken again by customer’s faulty charging cable or charging dock, additional parts unrelated to original problem failure when a customer plugs in their power supply or other components into the board. All repairs are tested and pictures are emailed to the customer showing device is working before device is returned. Warranty does not cover problems in your environment that would cause your repaired device to break again. For mail-in customers, free shipping is not provided for warranty coverage.

Any action seeking legal or equitable relief arising out of the or relating to these Terms or the Manual will be brought only in the courts of the State of Connecticut or the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Any dispute related in any way to your visit to our website www.logisticsct.com or to the products you purchase from us shall be arbitrated by Connecticut’s state or federal court and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
Comments, reviews, and Emails
Visitors may post content as long as it is not obscene, illegal, defamatory, threatening, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy or injurious in other way to third parties. Content has to be free of software viruses, political campaign, and commercial solicitation.
We reserve all rights (but not the obligation) to remove and/or edit such content. When you post your content, you grant Logistics non – exclusive, royalty – free and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, publish, modify such content throughout the world in any media.
