Midas Pro Motherboard Repair & Refurbishing

Mail-in diagnostics and repair for Midas motherboards, including Midas Pro 1, Midas Pro 2, and Midas Pro 2c.

  • Contact us before ordering — this ensures we can take the repair before you ship anything. If we’ve directed you to this page, you’re all set to continue.
  • Not all repairs are accepted; we factor in part availability and the extent of existing damage before confirming
  • This listing serves as a deposit your repair (recaps, IC replacement, BGA rework, solder work) and, for some smaller repairs, covers the full cost

Before you order

Please include in your order notes:

  • A description of the issue
  • Your board’s model number
  • High-quality photos of the board — this helps us gauge damage and estimate cost more accurately

How it works

  1. We run a full diagnostic on your board and give you a price to repair it
  2. A diagnostic fee is charged upfront — this is credited toward labor if you approve the repair
  3. After payment, you’ll get an email with shipping instructions and your order number
  4. Ship your board to us (or drop it off in person)
  5. Once repaired, we send photos before you pay the final invoice plus return shipping

We recommend USPS for ground shipping — better rates and reliable local handling.

Return shipping: standard ground shipping back to you is included in this purchase.

What to include

Send the Midas motherboard only, with all components left in place — battery, CF card, heatsink, and everything else attached. Don’t remove them; we need them on the board to test stability and replace parts as necessary.

Terms & Conditions

  • You’re responsible for shipping your board to us for the initial estimate
  • Final price may vary based on model and part cost
  • The price estimate typically includes return shipping, if applicable
  • Repairs may take longer if parts aren’t in stock
  • Your initial payment is a deposit and diagnostic fee — it’s applied to your final repair cost
  • We’ll send an itemized invoice and get your approval before starting any repair work
  • If you decline the repair, we’ll return your board — you’re responsible for the cost of shipping plus any time or materials already used
  • We aren’t responsible for damage that occurs in transit
  • Parts warranty varies by device and part — typically 90 days to 5+ years
